Autoworks Service and Repair in Prescott Valley continues serving its customers by providing a great service at a fair price.
It’s not unusual for many of our customers who live in the valley, or other areas of our state, to bring their vehicles to our full service repair shop. That might be because we’ve been in business since 1995 and recently we’ve ranked number two in the state as the best automotive repair facility!
Autoworks has moved up the list three years in a row for the Ranking Arizona top ten auto repair shops in Arizona. In 2015 we ranked number 10, in 2016 we were number six and this year we are ranked number two in the state!
And don’t let the copycats fool you! There are shops out there that apply similar titles to their names with different spellings. While imitation is indeed the best form of flattery, there is only one Autoworks. Our shop always puts the customer first and will help you prioritize repairs that fit your budget. This shop has been voted “Best of the Best,” received the Angie’s List “Super Service Award,” and continues adding loyal customers to its family.

Owner John Lonas chose to get into the automotive repair field at an early age.
“My dad owned a transmission repair business and I would help him at the shop after school and whenever I had time. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I had a knack for fixing things and diagnostics became my passion.
Once I got older, I took classes in auto repair and started working at repair shops. After several years of working for other people and companies and learning their bad habits, I decided to own a shop that really cared about the customer – I wanted to treat everyone like family.
 
I see many of our customers all year long outside of the shop, whether it's at the grocery store, chili cook-offs, church functions, restaurants and pretty much all around the place! We talk, we catch up and we stay connected outside of the shop. How many other owners treat their customers like an extended family? Sometimes I see other shop owners hide and try to avoid their customers, maybe out of guilt? Our motto is: You won't find jerks at Autoworks.”
Autoworks takes pride with its work and the staff does the same. In fact, Mel, Mark and Todd have worked for the business for many years and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them!
Autoworks moved to its new location on Eastridge Drive in November 2016. The new building provides plenty of parking and outside seating as well as a comfortable waiting room complete with coffee bar.
Also, leashed dogs are always welcome!
 “We are a family-owned business and our goal from day one has been to consistently provide great service at a fair price – while ensuring our customers’ safety on the roadways,” Lonas says. And don’t be surprised if you see members of the family at the shop visiting or working. Even the grandbaby stops by from time to time, maybe just to get his hands dirty and play with all of the shiny tools!
