Community Health & Wellness Fair Hosted by Humana

Humana invites the community to attend a free Health & Wellness Fair on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Prescott Valley Event Center parking lot, 3201 N. Main Street. The Health & Wellness Fair will include free body mass index (BMI) assessments and blood pressure readings with an on-site nurse, safety education provided by local law enforcement, activity demonstrations by SilverSneakers Fitness Program, pharmacy education by Humana Pharmacy, and light refreshments. There will also be registered nurses on site conducting health and wellness education, as well as providing resources and health information. There will be mammograms and osteoporosis screenings provided by Assured Imaging by appointment only. Humana members can receive several take-home test kits, including blood sugar, diabetes nephropathy care, and colorectal cancer tests.
