Rock your most attention-getting hat, get in on the 50/50 Raffle, enjoy “Pink Pony on the Rocks” cocktails, and enjoy the excitement of live horse racing. Women with the most incredible hats will be hand-selected to strike a pose for the “Ladies Rock” photo in the Winners Circle, along with celebrity ambassador for the day, AZTV news anchor and former 3TV media personality Brad Perry. RACE FOR THE ROCK In addition to the excitement of live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing, Arizona Downs, Raskin’s Jewelers, and Hassayampa Inn are partnering to bring you the very best in trackside entertainment with the “Race for the Rock.” A pre-selected group of love-struck men will compete in a race to the finish line in the hopes of winning the prize diamond valued at $1,500 for the lady in their life. Because it’s “Ladies Day,” each of these men has also agreed to wear a dress to even be considered as a contender. Fans can participate in 50/50 Raffle to vote for the man they think will win the “Race for the Rock.” Hassayampa Inn is donating a “Romantic Overnight for Two” to the man who gets the most votes, regardless of his finish.
