Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting an Art Sampler class: Architecture and Viewpoint for Beginners on August 7, 2025, from 5:30-6:30PM. Curious about drawing buildings or cityscapes but not sure where to start? Join us for a beginner-friendly art class focused on architecture and viewpoint! In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to capture depth, perspective, and structure in your artwork, no experience necessary. We’ll explore the basics of drawing architectural forms and using viewpoint to create dynamic, engaging compositions. All supplies are provided, so just bring your curiosity and creativity. Whether you're interested in sketching historic buildings or imagining your own dream spaces, this class is the perfect place to begin. This series is taught by Audrey Ashcraft, a local artist with experience working in many mediums. Having grown up in a military family, she has traveled extensively, allowing her to learn about art and culture from many corners of the globe.
