Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting, Fall & Winter Gardening, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners, on Thursday, September 8th, 2022, from 5:30-6:45 pm. We are excited to welcome you to this class outdoor fall and winter gardening is one of the many things that we can all enjoy in Yavapai County! However, we often forget to also care for our trees and shrubs. Learn how to navigate your yard during the colder months to insure bountiful crops and healthy plants year-round. Topics include: • Yavapai county climate • When to fertilize, irrigate, prune and plant your trees and shrubs • Techniques to improve and protect your soil for the next season. • Vegetable garden plant selection, location, and resources to protect your garden from the elements. • Alternatives to grow indoors Presenter: Laurin Pause This is an in-person presentation.
