Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Plant Diseases, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:45PM. Join us for an informative master gardener presentation on plant diseases, where you’ll learn how to recognize and manage common plant health issues affecting your garden. This session will cover the major types of plant diseases, including bacterial, fungal, viral, parasitic, and environmental problems, helping you understand their causes, symptoms, and effects on plant health. You'll also gain valuable insight into prevention and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to keep your garden thriving all season long. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned gardener, this workshop is packed with practical tips to help you protect your plants and grow with confidence. Presenter: Laurin Pause Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
