Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Winter Gardening, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:45PM. Discover how to make the most of your garden year-round with our engaging Fall and Winter Gardening presentation! Whether you're new to gardening or looking to expand your seasonal skills, this session will cover everything you need to know—from the basics of vegetable gardening during cooler months to key factors that impact success, tips on protecting your plants, and practical advice on what to plant. Embrace the seasons and learn how fall and winter gardening can be productive, rewarding, and fun! Presenter: Laurin Pause Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
