Prescott Valley Public Library – New Event - SilverKite Community Art Classes Introduction to Collage Art Class

Prescott Valley Public Library, in partnership with SilverKite Community Art Classes presents Collage Art Class, Monday, January 3rd, 2022 @ 2:30 pm. In this class we’ll collect, cut, tear and glue scraps and small treasures to create art. We’ll look at the work of a few collage artists and explore different techniques they use to make their work - and of course we’ll make our own! Facilitated by Kailan Bergstrom What you'll need: • Scissors (but not required), • Glue or glue stick • Cardstock or heavy paper for the back of your collage Anything you can glue to a page! — Including but not limited to: newspaper, magazines, construction paper, cardboard, packaging etc), fabric scraps, buttons, beads, found objects, from nature or around the house.
