With razor-sharp hooked beaks, powerful grasping talons, and wingspans that can be more than 5 feet, Arizona's birds of prey are magnificent to watch and essential to our native environment. Special guest instructors will be Anne and Paul Schell, founders of Arizona's Raptor Experience. They focus on the benefits of attracting raptors and wildlife, such as natural pest control, energy, water, soil conservation and how they can complement a backyard environment. We will be flying large eagles and falcons through the greenhouses here at Watters, so bring the grandkids and your camera. There will be excellent photo opportunities! Free to the public, but we will be asking for a free-will donation to support more of ARE's educational programs. If you can't attend this class, watch the Livestream on Facebook.
