When watching the folly of others, it is so easy to see what they should do. You want to yell at them: “Just do this!” Or “Take a step to the left.” Or “Walk away!” But when it comes to our own predicaments, we are often blind or mute or worse, we just wait- in hopes that change will come. This play challenges you, because it IS you. You’ve heard of Waiting for Godot. It sits in the pantheon of great plays. Samuel Beckett won the Nobel Prize, for heaven’s sake. BUT, he was notoriously private and disliked the fame brought about by the Nobel Prize, with his wife calling the award a “catastrophe”. (He did not attend the ceremony in Stockholm.) Like the playwright, “Godot” is not the show that begs you to come see it… So what are you waiting for? See you at the theatre! April 23-26, 30 & May 1-3. Thurdays-Saturdays at 7 PM, Sundays at 2 PM.
