It would be difficult to find a more dynamic community in north-central Arizona than Prescott Valley. Just 28 years old, Prescott Valley is northern Arizona’s fastest growing community with an annual growth rate of about 8 percent. The current population is about 35,000, a 49 percent increase since the 2000 Census. 

The quad-city region, comprised of Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley, and Dewey-Humboldt, is home to more than 120,000 people and the workforce numbers about 58,000. 

In February 2006, the Prescott Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), which includes Prescott Valley, was named by the Milken Institute as one of the top five Best Performing Small Cities in the country. The Prescott MSA was ranked third based upon factors such as jobs being created and maintained, rate of increases in wages and salaries, the growth of the economy, and businesses thriving. The Town of Prescott Valley is determined to continue creating new opportunities for our present and future residents and businesses while preserving our small-town friendly atmosphere.
