DESCRIPTION:Schutte & Hilgendorf\, CPAs is proud to announce that Adam Rutherford is a new partner with the firm.  Adam started with Schutte & Hilgendorf in 2009 and has experience in all public accounting areas that the firm offers including tax\, accounting\, auditing and payroll.  He became our Tax Director after Lois Hilgendorf retired in 2016 and has been a proven leader for all of the accounting and tax staff since.  Adam graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2005 with a Bachelors' Degree in Accountancy. He received his CPA license in 2008.  A native of Prescott\, Adam returned to his home town to raise a family with his wife Mary Ann. He has two children\, Jacob 5\, and Lillian 2.  Adam is a member of the American Institute of CPAs\, The Arizona Society of CPAs and is the treasurer for Central Arizona Partnership.  Adam enjoys traveling\, watching movies and going to Disneyland as much as possible.  Schutte & Hilgendorf will have a celebration of Adam's achievements and announce a name change to Schutte & Rutherford later in 2020.
