DESCRIPTION:Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting Health Talks: A Wellness and Prevention Series provided by Yavapai County Community Health Services on October 19th\, 2023\, from 5:00-6:45 pm. This month's presentation will focus on self-care behaviors that can empower you to take charge of your diabetes and learn vital self-management skills. There will also be information on managing pre-diabetes and diabetes prevention. All are welcome! Speaker: Andrea Klein RN\, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Dignity Health- Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Andrea is currently the Director of the Cardiac Rehab and Diabetes Support departments. She has been a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2001. Her focus is on teaching self-management skills for Diabetes Education and Training.
