This is a wonderful story of the University of Washington's 1936 rowing team & their quest for an Olympic gold medal. These boys\, the sons of loggers\, shipyard workers\, and farmers defeated their elite rivals first from eastern universities and then the German crew rowing for Adolf Hitler in the Olympic games in Berlin\, 1936.
