DESCRIPTION:What are New Teacher Welcome Kits?\n\n\n\nFor over 10 years\, the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce has been working with businesses and community members to provide a Welcome Kit of supplies that an incoming teacher will need to start the school year off right!\n\nEvery year has been different\, from the number of teachers to the amount of supplies.\n\nThis year\, we are hoping for a big turn out!\n\nAs you know\, consumable supplies can be difficult for many to have access to\, so let's ensure that our community stays strong by showing our support for their hard work.\n\n\n\nHere's how it works:\n\n-Your Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce reaches out to the area schools to get an estimate on how many new teachers will be joining their faculty and staff for the next school year.\n\n-We invite the community and businesses to join us in providing supplies   that can be by donating 100 of an item or sponsoring a kit.\n\n-Our longstanding sponsors and donors are: A-1 Office Supplies\, Eric Strobel   State Farm\, MATForce - Yavapai County Substance Abuse Coalition\, Big O Tires   Prescott Valley\, C & C Cyclery\, Prescott News Network\, Autoworks Service & Repair\, Prescott Valley Transmission\, State Farm   Heidi Fowler\, BBB Pacific Northwest\, ASA Party Rentals\, WalMart\, Binkley & Associates   An Allstate Agency\, CallTeks\, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters\, Stepping Stone Thrift Stores\, The Town of Prescott Valley\, and many more!\n\n-Once we have our supplies\, we build the kits with the help of community members\, volunteers\, and business leaders.\n\n \n\nIf you would like to join us in this initiative\, please reach out to April Siebersma at april@pvchamber.org\, or call 928-772-8857.\n\nYear after year\, we hear back from the teachers and staff about how impactful these kits are to helping them start the year with these much needed supplies\, and we are looking forward to seeing how this year will turn out!\n\n \n\nSincerely\,\n\nApril Siebersma
