RJ Tarantino Juhola, Certified Hypnotherapist and trauma informed coach, brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to a conversation about what happens when you finally have an explanation for experiences you may have spent years misunderstanding or blaming yourself for.
Designed for women who were diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, or both later in life, are beginning to recognize themselves in these experiences, or are simply wondering whether this may apply to them, this small group workshop will explore the everyday ways neurodivergence can show up in women. A formal diagnosis is not required.
Together, we’ll talk about why so many women were missed, the expectations many of us grew up with, and experiences such as masking, sensory overload, rejection sensitivity, task paralysis, time blindness, and burnout. We’ll also look at what can begin to change when you understand these patterns differently and start responding to what you need instead of automatically overriding it.
There will be room for reflection, conversation, questions, and shared recognition, but no one will be expected to disclose more than feels comfortable.
Participants will leave with greater language for their own experiences, less shame or self blame around at least one pattern they recognize, and one small way they may begin supporting themselves differently.
You are not the problem. You are not broken. You’ve been surviving the best way you knew how.
