Discover the history of the Verde Valley through a special presentation on Arcadia’s Images of America volume featuring the region’s historic cemeteries. Covering Sedona, Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Clarkdale, and Jerome, the book brings together rare archival photographs and engaging stories that explore early burial grounds, local traditions, and the people who shaped the area’s past. Author Parker Anderson will share insights from his research, highlighting the cultural significance of these sites and the individuals laid to rest there. Anderson, a longtime Arizona resident and archivist with the Sharlot Hall Museum, has authored numerous works on regional history and brings decades of experience in preservation, theater, and community storytelling.
