Daisies, Leaves, and Lizards: Creating Natural History with Beads and Wire
Edie Dillon will lead participants through the fun of French Beading, a centuries-old art form that uses seed beads strung on wire to create realistic flowers and other decorative objects. Edie has incorporated and expanded on the form in her sculpture, paying close attention to detail in order to reproduce the features of various endemic and endangered species. Edie Dillon is a sculptor, painter, writer, and mother whose work seeks to honor the beauty and mystery of the world. Bring your friends! Children 6 and up accompanied by an adult.
