For more than a decade, the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce has proudly partnered with local businesses, community leaders, and generous supporters to welcome new teachers to our community with New Teacher Welcome Kits filled with classroom essentials and encouragement.
Each year, these kits help educators walk into their classrooms feeling supported, prepared, and appreciated from day one. From pencils and notebooks to tissues, markers, and everyday classroom necessities, these supplies make a meaningful difference for teachers who often purchase items out of their own pockets.
And this year… we’re hoping to make the biggest impact yet!
As our schools continue to grow, so does the need for consumable classroom supplies. Together, we can help ensure our teachers have the tools they need to inspire, educate, and shape the next generation right here in Prescott Valley.
Here’s How It Works 📚✏️
🎓 Step 1:
The Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce connects with local schools to estimate how many new teachers will be joining campuses for the upcoming school year.
🖍️ Step 2:
Community members and businesses are invited to participate by:
Sponsoring a New Teacher Welcome Kit
Donating 100 of a specific school supply item
Supporting the program through sponsorship opportunities
📦 Step 3:
All donated supplies must be dropped off at the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce office no later than Monday, July 13th.
🤝 Step 4:
Once supplies are collected, volunteers, community members, Chamber partners, and business leaders come together to assemble the kits with care and excitement.
💙 Step 5:
The kits are delivered to new teachers, giving them a warm Prescott Valley welcome and helping them start the school year strong.
Year after year, teachers and school staff share how impactful these Welcome Kits are — not only because of the supplies themselves, but because they feel supported by the community they now call home.
Together, we can continue building a strong, connected community by investing in the educators who invest in our students every single day.
