Drawn from the renowned Band of the Golden West, The Commanders carry on the proud tradition of the great Big Bands, performing an exciting mix of swing, bop, cool jazz, Broadway favorites, and patriotic music. Comprised of 20 world-class Airmen-musicians, The Commanders celebrate America’s musical heritage while honoring service, inspiring patriotism, and strengthening the bond between the Air Force and the community.
