Stand Down is an annual two-day collaborative event that links veterans in Yavapai County with resources to housing, food, clothing, health screenings, and additional services from the community needed to regain self-sufficiency. Local organizations who offer services for veterans are invited to participate and volunteers are needed for both days. Service providers, community health resources, legal resources, and employers hiring veterans will in attendance on Friday from 8-5pm, whereas Saturday will be designated for clothing and gear distribution from 8-12.
