    Job Title:                    Membership Services Manager
    Reports To:                President/CEO
    Wage Category:         Full-time, Non-Exempt, Company Sponsored Benefits Available
     
    Job Overview:  Under the direction of the CEO, the Membership Services Manager will oversee all aspects of membership programming. 
     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all membership sales
    • Coordinate membership drives, member visits, ribbon cuttings
    • Work with members for grand openings as requested
    • Develop ways for recognition of members
    • Prepare follow-up correspondence for new members
    • Maintain contact database for prospects, new businesses, and changes in business
    • Responsible for new member orientation
    • Coordinate and schedule monthly lunch and learns
    • Coordinate Alive After 5 mixers
    • Responsible for retention calls and working on membership retention
    • Oversee collection of delayed renewals of accounts and requests for cancellation in a timely manner
    • Send out monthly invoices and follow up with past-due accounts
    • Attend Alive After 5 mixers, ribbon cuttings, open houses, and other events as assigned by the President/CEO
    • Responsible for social media promotion of new members
    • Work with Operations and Events manager to maintain accurate membership data software
    • Act as liaison to committees and task forces as assigned by the President/CEO
    • Prepare written membership reports for board meetings
    • Plan membership sales/promotional/retention material
    • Understand and comply with all Chamber policies and procedures
    • Must be knowledgeable of all Chamber programs and activities
    • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

    Must: be self-starter, computer proficient, able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at a time; able to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment; consistently able to demonstrate a professional, mature demeanor and able to exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects. 

    Work Hours: Full time (40 hours per week) primarily Monday through Friday - 8 hours per day.) Some weekends and/or holidays as needed and as determined by the President/CEO.
